Sectigo EV validation

  1. Step 1 - Validation staff will attempt to validate your organization by consulting various federal and business databases. In most cases, this is a routine process that should be completed within a couple of working days. If they cannot locate certain pieces of information about your organization, they may contact you to request that you provide documentation like Article of Incorporation or Business License. You can send the documents using Sectigo online form in PDF/JPG/DOC format.

Verification can be done via QIIS - Qualified Independent Information Source, Examples:

    www.hoovers.com
    companieshouse.gov.uk - UK

  2. Step 2 - Agreement Execution via Click-through. You will need to sign subscriber agreement via online service, no more prints, and scans.
  3. Step 3 - Passing Domain Validation (DCV). More about DCV process
  4. Step 4 - Callback. The final step is a callback process when CA verifies your company phone number listed on general Government Databases or like DNB/Hoovers.
